WHEREAS, on April 10, 2019, the Town of Firestone entered into an Employment
Agreement ("Agreement") with Arthur J. Krieger to serve as Town Manager; and
WHEREAS, the current Agreement provides in part, that the Town Manager's
performance shall be reviewed and evaluated by the Board of Trustees no less frequently than in
February, May, August and November of each year; and
WHEREAS, upon the Board of Trustees final annual review and evaluation of the Town
Manager on November 11, 2024, the consensus of the Board of Trustees was to increase the Town
Manager's annual compensation by 10%.
The Fourth Amendment to the Town Manager's Employment Agreement is approved in
substantially the same form as the copy attached hereto and made a part of this resolution and the
Mayor is authorized to execute the Fourth Amendment on behalf of the Town.

This Fourth Amendment to the Town Manager's Employment Agreement ("Agreement") is made and
entered into this 18th day of December 2024, by and between the Town of Firestone, Colorado, and
Arthur J. Krieger, Town Manager.
WHEREAS, on April 10, 2019, the Town of Firestone entered into an Employment Agreement
("Agreement") with Arthur J. Krieger to serve as Town Manager; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has evaluated the Town Manager's performance no less
frequently than once a year and last year amended the Agreement to provide, in part that the Town
Manager shall be reviewed and evaluated no less frequently then in February, May, August and
November of each year; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees met with the Town Manager on November 13, 2024 for this
year's fourth review and evaluation of his performance and the consensus was to increase the Town
Manager's salary by 10% which amounts to an annual base salary of $242,050 to be effective January
1, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
Section 1. Section 3, Compensation, of the Agreement is amended by increasing the Town
Manager's annual base salary from $220,500.00 to $242,050.00 effective January 1, 2025.
Section 2. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have duly executed this Fourth Amendment to the Agreement
on the 18th day of December 2024.
