WIU RI AS, Sections 166 3.1 . and 16. . .( 3 of the Firestone Development Code
("FL)(") establish a formula for determining the amount of parkland md open space lands required
to be dedicated ("Par°kl Parkland Dedication Requirement" and "Open Space Dedication Requirement")
for any person seeking to develop any area zoned for residential purposes "R side atial

single-family, dwelling unit, 1.6 persons per multi- family dwellings, and a Neighborhood `ar ,:

Section 2. Pursuant to Section 166 3 B 8a of the I°I C=', the Bo ird of Trustees
establishes the. Neighborhood Park C onstruction I cc to he $40,000 per acre.
Section 1 ,The Neighborhood Park Constiucticm IF cc estahhshed in Section 2 may he
adjusted a Iministratively by the Director or such Person's designee up to the annual average
amount of or percentage change, if any, in thEngineering News Record Construction Cost index
(CCI) for the Denser Metropolitan Area,. Any fee adjustment greater than the annual amount of

Section 4 Ipon the effective date of this resolution, the persons per dsselliag unit
figures and Neighborhood Park Construction I cc established in Sections I and 2 of this resolution
respectively, shall supersede the persons per dsseiling unit figures and Neighborhood Park;
Construction Icc values established in all prior resolutions adopted pursuant to Subsection
16,63I. atoftheI Cw.
Section 5 1 his resolution is not intended to, and shall not be construed to, establish a
preference for payment ol the Neighborhood Park Construction I cc in lieu of the requirement to
construct and install a neighborhood park pursuant to Section 16 6 ,.B 5 of the I DC".
Section 6. T his resolution shall take effect on January 1, 2024.
