A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
FIRESTONE COLORADO APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE AND DAVEY
RESOURCES INC FOR A TREE INVENTORY
WHEREAS, to establish a baseline of the Town of Firestone's ("Town") urban forest and
enable informed decisions regarding the management, planning and planting of trees within the
urban forest the Town is in need of a Tree Inventory which is a detailed report by a certified
arborist which lists and describes all trees and their location within the Town; and
WHEREAS, to perform such task the Town solicited quotes from three qualified
providers and selected Davey Resources Inc ("Davey") as lowest responsive and responsible
bidder; and
WHEREAS staff recommend that the Board of Trustees approve the selection of Davey
to perform the Town's 2025 Tree Inventory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO:
The Professional Services Agreement between the Town of Firestone and Davey
Resources Inc for the Town's 2025 Tree Inventory is approved in substantially the same form as
the copy attached hereto and made a part of this resolution and the Mayor is authorized to
execute the Agreement on behalf of the Town. I
