HomeMy WebLinkAbout 14-50 Approving a FDP for Holiday Inn ExpressRESOLUTION NO. 142D® A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Firestone a request for approval of a final development plan for Holiday Inn Express; and WHEREAS, all materials related to the proposed final development plan have been reviewed by Town Staff and the Firestone Planning and Zoning Commission and found with conditions to be in compliance with Town of Firestone subdivision and zoning ordinances, Development Regulations, and related Town ordinances, regulations, and policies; and WHEREAS, the Firestone Planning and Zoning Commission has held a properly noticed public hearing on the application, and has forwarded to the Board of Trustees a recommendation of approval with conditions; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has duly considered the proposed final development plan and has held a properly noticed public hearing on the application; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees finds that the proposed final development plan should be approved, subject to certain conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO: Section 1. The Board of Trustees of the Town of Firestone does hereby approve the proposed final development plan for Holiday Imi Express, subject to the conditions set forth on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED this 13t1i day of August, 2014. TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO Paul Sorensen, Mayor ATTEST: EXHIBIT A Final Development Plan Conditions of Approval Holiday Inn Express 1. Modify documents and address comments from the Town Engineer (memo dated August 6, 2014). 2. Provide an updated title commitment prior to recording. 3. Execute a development agreement addressing the public improvements, in a form prepared by the Town Attorney. 4. Provide an architectural materials board and colored elevations for presentation at the public hearings. 5. Provide a color version of the landscape plan for presentation at the public hearings. 6. Provide a detail of the dumpster enclosure. Also provide details of the materials for the dumpster enclosure to assure it matches the architectural style of the main building. 7. On Sheet 2, in the Sign Program section, include a statement of the rationale for the 55-foot, eight -inch tall pole sign. 8. On Sheet 9, Landscape Plan, clarify what "temporarily -irrigated" means. 9. On Sheet 9, confirm that the landscaping shown is not in conflict with Note 5 of the General Landscaping Criteria or comments from the Town Engineer. 10.
