A RESOLUTION OF THE HOARY) OF TRUSTEES F THE TOWN OF
FIRESTONE, COLORADO, ADOPTING THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE
DESIGN STANDARDS AND CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS FOR
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS 2025 EDITION
WHEREAS, the "Ion of firestone ("`fo n„) BoardofTrustees ('Board") first adopted
the Town Design Criteria and Construction Specifications for Public Improvements (Standards
and Specifications") back in 2020 and, since then, has adopted updated Standards and
Specifications in 2022: and
WHEREAS, over the last several years there have been multiple updates regarding
industry standards, materials, and construction practices, and
WHEREAS, it is, thus, essential that the Town update its Standards and Specifications to
ensure that Toupin- owned public improvrements,. which include, for example, roadvays, curbs,
gutters and sidewalks, v ater, sanitary sesser, and storm drainage systems, and traffic signal
improvements, are designed, constructed, operated and maintained in a manner that both provides
high -quality facilities and ensures public safety.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TI ARA OF TRUSTEES OF
THE 'IOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO:
The Iow n of Firestone Design Standards and Construction Specifications for Public
Improvements, 2025 Edition, is approved in substantially the same form as the copy attached
hereto and made a part of this resolution. The Mayor is authorized to execute same on behalf of
the Tovyn,
