A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE,
COLORADO APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE FIRESTONE PARK AND
RECREATION FACILITY FEE SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, though the Town has imposed fees for the use of and provision of services related to its Park
and Recreation Facilities, the demand and use of such services by both residents and non-residents has continued
to increase; and
WHEREAS, Town staff has investigated and analyzed the capital needs and operations of the Town and
the administrative costs for performing services that will be incurred by the Town in connection with managing
and maintaining its various Park and Recreation Facilities and related recreational programming, and for other
enumerated procedures authorized by Title 12 of the Firestone Municipal Code, and recognizes a need to update
and adopt the Firestone Parks and Recreation Facilities Fee Schedule accordingly; and
WHEREAS, the Town staff has determined that the proposed updated Firestone Parks and Recreation
Facilities Fee Schedule sets forth fees that are reasonably related to the Town's costs and thus necessary to defray
the actual costs incurred by the Town in the performance of the parks and recreation services provided by the
Town; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees desires to adopt the Town staff's determination as to the fees set forth
in the updated fee schedule attached to this resolution as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO:
Section 1. The Board of Trustees of the Town of Firestone hereby adopts the Firestone Parks and
Recreation Facilities Fee Schedule in substantially the same form as the copy attached hereto and made a part of
this resolution.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect on August 1, 2025, and upon such date
all prior resolutions addressing the fees set forth in the Park and Recreation Facility Fee Schedule shall be
repealed in its (their) entirety.
