A'RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE,
COLORADO, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRA T BETWEEN
THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE AND CIVIL RESOURCES, LLC PERTAINING TO THE
TOWN OF FIRESTONE RESERVOIR NO. , PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Town of Fireston("Town") is in need of professional engineer services for the Town
of Firestone Reservoir No. 2 Project (``Project"); and
WHEREAS, AS, the Town issued a request for proposals ("RFP") for such services for the Project; and,
WHEREAS, the Town has evaluated the proposals submitted in response to the RFP, and after
conducting interviews of several bidders, finds that C ;il Resources, t,LC ('Civil Resources") is the lowest
responsible, responsive proposer whose proposal is most advantageous to the Town, and
WHEREAS, the "Town finds that Cii1 Resources has the expertise, qualifications, and experience to
perform, the work and dutiesrequired for the Project, and desires to select Civil Resources as the successful
proposer for the RFP and to enter into a design services contract with (Thyit Resources to provide the design
services and perform the work as described in Professional Set -vices Contract, attached hereto as I xhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOAR( OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF FIRESTOIE, COLORADO:
Section l, The Professional Services Contract between the Town of Firestone and Civil Resources,
LLC is approved in substantially the same form as the copy attached hereto and made a part of this resolution,
and the Mayor is authorized to execute the Professional Services Contract on behalf of the "1 "own..
Section 2. The Town Manager or such person's designee is authorized to approve, sign, execute and
deliver any and all change orders on behalf of the Town as may be necessary to complete the Project or for the
°Town to perform under the Contract up to and until such time as the total dollar amount of all such change
orders equals or exceeds 250fl0, at which time any such change order shall be subject to approval by the
Board.
