A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE,
COLORADO ESTABLISHING BUSINESS LICENSING FEES
WHEREAS, the Town of Firestone (the "Town") is a statutory town duly organized and
existing under Colorado law; and
WHEREAS, Title 5 of the Firestone Municipal Code permits the Town to impose and set
fees for the various business application types and for other procedures authorized by Chapters
5.04; and
WHEREAS, Town staff examined the capital needs and operations of the Town and
investigated the Town's administrative costs inherent in administering Chapters 5.04 of the
Firestone Municipal Code, and determined that the proposed Fee Schedule, attached as Exhibit A,
sets forth fees that are reasonably related to the Town's actual costs related to administering and
providing other services under these chapters, and are necessary to defray the actual costs incurred
by the Town in the furnishing of goods, programs, and services provided by the Town pursuant to
Chapters 5.04 of the Firestone Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of Trustees desires to adopt the fees set forth in the Fee
Schedule attached to this resolution as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO:
Section 1. The Board of Trustees of the Town of Firestone adopts the following Fee
Schedule applicable to the enumerated review and approval procedures or other Town actions
authorized by Chapters 5.04 of the Firestone Municipal Code, in substantially the same form as
the copy attached hereto and made a part of this resolution.
Section 2. All other resolutions establishing such fees are superseded and repealed in,
their entirety by this resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect on January 1, 2026.
