HomeMy WebLinkAbout21-88 Amendment Existing Final Development Plan Ridge Crest PUD Filing 2 & 3 07-28-2021A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO AN EXISTING FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN RIDGE CREST PUD FILING 2/3 WHEREAS, on March 24, 2021, the Board of Trustees adopted Resolution 00-13, approving a Final Development Plan "FDP" for RIDGE CREST PUD FILING NOS. 2 and 3, a subdivision providing 412 lots for single-family residential uses within the Town of Firestone; and WHEREAS, there is an existing rear setback of 100 feet applicable to Lots 1-11, Block 1 within Ridge Crest PUD Filing No.2/3, and there is an existing side setback of 100 feet applicable to Lot 1, Block 2 within Ridge Crest PUD Filing No. 2/3 (collectively, the "Property"); and WHEREAS, Scott R. Hakonson ("Applicant"), as owner of the Property, has submitted an application to amend the existing FDP, entitled "Ridge Crest PUD Filing No. 2/3, Final Development Plan, Amendment No. 1": (a) to reduce the rear setback for Lots 1-11 2, Block 1, from one hundred (100) feet to twenty (20) feet; and (b) to reduce the side setback for Lot 1, Block 2, from one hundred (100) feet to twenty (20) feet (collectively, the "Application"); and WHEREAS, the Firestone Planning and Zoning Commission held a property noticed public hearing on the application, and has forwarded to the Board of Trustees a recommendation of approval of the Application; and WHEREAS, after aduly-noticed public hearing, at which evidence and testimony were entered into the record, the Town Board of Trustees finds and determines that Lite Application is complete, that the Applicant has met the applicable requirements and standards set forth Section 16.7.10.1) of the Firestone Development Code. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO: Section 1. The Ridge Crest PUD Filing 2/3, Final Development Plan, Amendment No. 1, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby approved.
