HomeMy WebLinkAbout26-20 Extending the Approval of the Firelight Park Filing No 1 Final Plat 02-18-2026RESOLUTION NO. 26-20 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO, EXTENDING THE APPROVAL OF THE FIRELIGHT PARK FILING NO. 1 FINAL PLAT WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees, by duly -adopted Resolution No. 25-33, dated March 12, 2025, approved the Firelight Park Filing No. 1 Final Plat (the "Final Plat"), submitted by Firelight Development, Inc. ("Applicant"), as owner of certain real property located in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 5, Township 2 North, Range 68 West of the 6s' Principal Meridian, in the Town of Firestone (the "Property"); and WHEREAS, on August 27, 2025, the Board of Trustees, by duly -adopted resolution, extended the date of approval of the Minor Plat to March 7, 2026; and WHEREAS, Applicant has requested that the Board of Trustees extend the date of approval of the Final Plat for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days, beginning from March 7, 2026, and continuing through to and including September 3, 2026; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has reviewed Applicant's request and, based on the application materials, has determined that there are no reasons to deny an extension of time. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO: Section 1. The Board of Trustees hereby approves a one hundred and eighty (180) day extension for the Firelight Park Filing No. 1 Final Plat to September 3, 2026, subject to the following conditions: (a) All conditions of the original Firelight Park Filing No. I Final Plat approval from March 12, 2025, as set out in Resolution No. 25-33, shall remain valid and in full force and effect, and shall apply to the extension request; and (b) If not executed and recorded by September 3, 2026, the Firelight Park Filing No. I Final Plat shall lapse, unless extended by resolution of the Board of Trustees. Section 2. Unless otherwise extended by resolution of the Board of Trustees, the approval of the Firelight Park Filing No. 1 Final Plat, and the extension thereof, as provided by Resolution No. 25-33, Resolution 25-92, and this Resolution, shall be null and void if the conditions set forth in Section 1 are not satisfied.
