Neighborhood Street Maintenance Project Update Oak Meadows Boulevard Closure The paving project in Oak Meadows will require the closure of Oak Meadows Boulevard from Twilight Avenue south to Firestone Boulevard. During this time, access into and out of the Firestone Meadows Apartments will be from the emergency access road at Ebony Street, located in the northeast area of the complex. This full closure will begin at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024, and is anticipated to only last one day. Thank you for your cooperation and patience while this work is completed. For more information on this project, please contact the Town of Firestone at 303-833-3544. June 14, 2024 - The mill and overlay projects will begin Monday, June 17, 2024. The neighborhoods impacted by this work include Monarch Estates and Oak Meadows. Weather permitting, normal work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Access to residential streets will be limited on certain days. Failure to obey the "NO PARKING" signs could result in vehicles being moved at the owner's expense. Motorists are urged to pay close attention while driving through the work area and be prepared for slight delays. Please abide by all posted traffic control signs, be aware of detours, and reduce speeds in the work zone. For more information on this project, please contact the Town of Firestone at 303-833-3544. May 10, 2024 - Brannan Sand and Gravel is working through the 2024 Neighborhood Street Maintenance projects. The contractor will start with the crack repairs in Stoneridge, Oak Meadows, and Monarch Estates, then move to the edge mill and overlay project in Monarch Estates and Oak Meadows. View maps of the work for each neighborhood here: Stoneridge Monarch Estates Oak Meadows Weather permitting, regular work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the project should be completed within 90 days. Residents can expect to receive door hanger notices from the contractor, with specific timing for the work on their street. CRACK REPAIR: 300 tons of crack repair will be completed on 2" or larger cracks in the Stoneridge subdivision. 500 tons of crack repair will be completed on 2" or larger cracks in the Oak Meadows subdivision. 500 tons of crack repair will be completed on 2" or larger cracks in the Monarch Estates subdivision.
