HomeMy WebLinkAboutMountain Shadows Park Trail Construction Work to Begin - 4/22/2026Mountain Shadows Park Trail Construction Work to Begin Next Week Beginning Monday, April 27, 2026, a contractor will begin construction at Mountain Shadows Park to complete the trail extension within the Mountain Shadows subdivision. The existing trail at Mountain Shadows Park was constructed more than 15 years ago and currently ends at the parkʼs northern edge. This project will extend the trail to the west and south, creating a connection to the walkway along Waverley Avenue. The extension will provide residents with a continuous, clearly defined pathway to access the park while improving overall neighborhood connectivity. During this time, residents should expect to see heavy equipment and construction materials on-site, with clear trail closure signs. The playground, parking lot, and bike park will all remain open during the work. Please be mindful and avoid the construction area while at the park.
