HomeMy WebLinkAboutPhase 4 of Firestone Boulevard & Frontier Street Work - 4/27/2026Phase 4 of Firestone Boulevard & Frontier Street Work The roadway and intersection improvements to Firestone Boulevard and Frontier Street will move into Phase 4 of the project starting on Monday, May 4, 2026. This work will include a full closure of the intersection of Firestone Boulevard and Frontier Street to allow contractors to reconstruct the whole intersection. This work is a part of the Denmore/Cordovan subdivision project and is expected to last 4 weeks. Neighborhood Access Sage Brush Subdivision: Access will remain open to the neighborhood via Echo Street and Tenderfoot Avenue Frontier Street/CR 15: Access will need to be made from CR 26 or Sable Avenue, depending on your location. Detours Main detour routes: Sable Avenue and CR 26 between Colorado Boulevard and CR 17 Clearly marked signage will be in place to guide travelers View a detour map here. Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detour and traffic control signs and, if possible, to avoid the work zone altogether. Once this phase is complete, the traffic signal at the intersection will be fully operational, and the majority of the project will be finished. No additional major closures or detours are anticipated. We appreciate the communityʼs patience as this project nears completion.
