Firestone Teen Police Academy is Back - 4/13/2026
Your Teen's Most Interesting Summer Plans Start Here The Firestone Police Department is excited to announce that registration for the 2026 Teen Summer Police Academy is now open — and spots fill up fast. This is a free, four-day, action-packed program where teens ages 13 to 17 get hands-on experience in the world of law enforcement. Led by Officer Dunker and Officer Neugebauer, participants will work through real-world scenarios, including traffic stops, building searches, cyber crimes, fingerprinting, and DNA analysis. They will also have the opportunity to meet and learn from other emergency agencies in the Carbon Valley area. This is not your average summer program. Teens leave with real skills, real confidence, and a firsthand look at what it takes to protect and serve a community. 2026 Teen Summer Police Academy Details Dates: June 29 through July 2, 2026 Time: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily Location: Firestone Police Department, 9900 Park Avenue Ages: 13 to 17 (parent permission required) Cost: Free Spots are limited, so do not wait — register today!
