HomeMy WebLinkAboutTraffic Signal Maintenance & Upgrades on Firestone Boulevard - 5/8/2026Traffic Signal Maintenance & Upgrades on Firestone Boulevard Beginning Sunday, May 10, 2026, between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., a Town of Firestone contractor will perform nighttime preventive maintenance on traffic signals throughout the Town of Firestone. While this work is ongoing, traffic control devices and personnel will be in place at the intersections of Firestone Boulevard at Colorado Boulevard, Birch Street, and Cimarron Street. At the same intersections, on Monday, May 18, daytime operations from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. will be used to program and confirm the newly installed Vehicle Detection systems. During the signal maintenance, drivers may experience longer delays at these intersections. After the work is complete, the timing of these lights will be back to normal. Motorists are urged to pay close attention while driving through the work areas and be prepared for slight delays. Please follow all posted traffic control signs and reduce your speed in the work zone.
