HomeMy WebLinkAboutNow Accepting Applications for the Vacant BoT Position - 5/22/2026Now Accepting Applications for the Vacant Board of Trustees Position The Town of Firestone Board of Trustees is now accepting applications from Firestone residents who are willing to fill a vacant Trustee position. This position will fill a vacancy until the next Regular Municipal Election in November 2026. The Town of Firestone operates as a council-manager form of government. This system of local government combines the strong political leadership of elected officials through a council (Board of Trustees) with the managerial experience of an appointed local government manager. As an elected body, the Mayor and Board of Trustees are the Town's policymakers, providing overall policy and direction. The Board of Trustees conducts regular meetings on the third Wednesday of every month, and Work Sessions are scheduled on the second Wednesday of each month or as needed. APPLY TODAY! Those interested in applying must submit their applications online by Friday, June 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The Board of Trustees will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room for interviews of the applicants, with the intention of making an appointment during the July 15, 2026, Board of Trustees meeting.
