Upcoming Election: Candidate Training Civic Leadership Starts Here Interested in serving your community? Come learn about what it takes to become a candidate and run for the Firestone Board of Trustees at the Candidate Training The Town of Firestone's next regular municipal election will be held on November 3, 2026. This year, six elected positions will appear on the ballot: five Trustee seats and the Mayor's seat. The Candidate Training will cover the nomination petition procedure, deadlines, the role of elected officials in the Town of Firestone, general election information, and the Fair Campaign Practices Act. Candidate Training Details: Monday, August 3, 2026 5:30 p.m. Firestone Board & Court Room, in the Firestone Police & Municipal Court Building at 9900 Park Ave, Firestone Attending the training is not required, but it is highly recommended. Nomination petition packets can be picked up from the Town Clerkʼs Office starting on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Connect With Us Visit the 2026 Candidate & Committee Resources webpage for information about the election process, candidate requirements, important deadlines, and available resources. You can also complete the Perspective Candidate Interest Form, and a member of Town staff will contact you to answer your questions and help you get started. You can also stop by and visit with Town staff at the Food & Flick event on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Harney Park to learn more about the upcoming municipal election.
