HomeMy WebLinkAboutNew Traffic Signals Coming to Firestone Boulevard - 7/2/2026New Traffic Signals Coming to Firestone Boulevard As part of the improvement project at the I-25 and Firestone Boulevard interchange, new traffic signals will be installed at the intersection of Firestone Boulevard and the East Frontage Road, as well as at the northbound I-25 on-ramp. To help minimize traffic impacts, this work will take place overnight between July 6 and July 9, from 12:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. During construction, multiple westbound lanes on Firestone Boulevard will be closed. Uniformed traffic control officers will be on-site to direct traffic while crews remove the existing signals and install the new equipment. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible. If travel through the area is necessary, please slow down, stay alert, follow directions from traffic control personnel, and expect brief delays.
