Learn what it takes to run for the Firestone Board of Trustees. The Town of Firestone's next regular municipal election will be held on November 3, 2026. This year, six elected positions will appear on the ballot: five Trustee seats and the Mayor's seat. If you've ever wondered what serving on the Board of Trustees involves or are interested in learning about becoming a candidate, join us for an informal Open House. Whether you're considering running for office or simply want to better understand the process, this event offers an opportunity to ask questions, meet Town staff, and learn about the responsibilities of elected officials and the upcoming election. Stop by anytime during the Open House to: Learn about the roles and responsibilities of the Mayor and Board of Trustees Review candidate qualifications and the election process Understand filing requirements and important deadlines Explore the time commitment involved in serving Ask questions in a relaxed, informal setting Open House Details Wednesday, July 22 4:00–6:30 p.m. Firestone Town Hall, 9950 Park Avenue No RSVP is required Connect With Us Can't make the Open House? Visit the 2026 Candidate & Committee Resources webpage for information about the election process, candidate requirements, important deadlines, and available resources. You can also complete the Perspective Candidate Interest Form, and a member of Town staff will contact you to answer your questions and help you get started. You can also stop by and visit with Town staff at the Food & Flick event on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Harney Park to learn more about the upcoming municipal election.
