HomeMy WebLinkAboutStreet Maintenance Project – Colorado Blvd Work Saturday - 7/29/20262026 Street Maintenance Project Colorado Boulevard Work this Saturday On Saturday, August 1, 2026, a Town of Firestone contractor will begin resurfacing on Colorado Blvd from CR 26 north ½ mile, weather permitting, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The resurfacing will consist of a Slurry Seal, and the roadway will be tabbed for lane delineation until Street Striping is applied at a later date. Travel Impacts Motorists should expect temporary traffic impacts throughout the project, including: Single-lane closures with alternating traffic during active construction Temporary lane shifts and traffic pattern changes Reduced speed limits through work zones Periodic traffic delays Drivers are encouraged to use caution when traveling through construction areas, to follow all posted traffic control signs, to reduce speeds, and to allow extra travel time.
