HomeMy WebLinkAboutMeet & Greet - Thurs, March 9th - 3/1/2023The Firestone Police Department invites the community to the 23rd Annual Meet & Greet event. NEW this year, the event has expanded in partnership with the Carbon Valley Regional Library District and is now hosting 30 organizations, nonprofits, and businesses that provide valued services to Firestone and the Carbon Valley residents. Firestone Town Hall & Police Department 9900 - 9950 Park Ave. Meet with the Firestone Police Department and learn about the Department’s operations and initiatives. Highlights will include: information about evidence collections, gear and equipment on display, drone equipment, traffic accident reconstruction equipment, and tours of police vehicles. In addition to Firestone safety personnel, visit with representatives from the Town of Frederick, the City of Dacono, the Town of Mead, Weld County Sheriff's Office, Frederick- Firestone Fire Protection District, Carbon Valley Emergency Management Agency, and CVM Victim Services. At Town Hall, you can visit with various departments to learn about upcoming projects and programs. In addition, you can visit with elected officials from the Firestone Board of Trustees, Weld County Commissioner Scott James, and State Representative Jennifer Parenti. Bring your camera! Don’t forget to visit the equipment in the parking lot; there will be police vehicles, a firetruck, and a snowplow. Light refreshments will be served. Carbon Valley Regional Library 7 Park Ave. Stop by the Carbon Valley Regional Library to visit all of the service-based organizations.
