HomeMy WebLinkAboutHistoric Firestone Waterline & Roadway Replacement Project - 4/28/2023Historic Firestone Waterline & Roadway Replacement Project #2 Begins Next Week Beginning next week, May 1, 2023, Defalco Construction will begin work on Historic Firestone Waterline and Roadway Replacement Project #2. Work will start on 4th Street, Buchannan Ave, and Granville Ave. to 3rd Street and will then move to Wooster Dr., Jackson Dr., and 3rd Street. The schedule is subject to change and will be updated once confirmed. Weather permitting, regular work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the project should be completed by the end of 2023. Residents who will be impacted by the work will receive door hanger notices from the contractor with specific timing for the work on their street. Motorists are urged to pay close attention while driving through the work area and be prepared for slight delays. While on 4th Street, be aware that there will be multiple lane shis at both intersections during construction. Please abide by all posted traic control signs, reduce speeds in the work zone, and avoid the work area if possible.
