HomeMy WebLinkAbout20-56 Integrated Water Services, Inc St. Vrain Water Treatment 05-27-2020RESOLUTION N0.20-56 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO, APPROVING PART 2A (SITE AND CONCRETE WORK) OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE AND INTEGRATED WATER SERVICES, INC.'S ST. VRAIN WATER TREATMENT PLANT PROJECT AGREEMENT WHEREAS, by adoption of Resolution 19-54, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Firestone and Integrated Water Services, Inc., ("IWS") entered into a Design Services Agreement for the St. Vrain Water Treatment Plant Project; and WHEREAS, IWS has completed the design services work and is set to proceed with the Project's Site and Construction tasks (Part 2A), and WHEREAS, commencement of Part 2A requires that the Town of Firestone issue a Notice of Award, that IWS submit a Price Proposal Form, and the parties execute a Notice to Proceed and an Agreement between Owner and Construction Manager At Risk on the Basis of Cost -Plus. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO: Part 2A of the Town of Firestone and Integrated Water Services Inc.'s St. Vrain Water Treatment Plant Project Agreement is approved in substantially the same form as the copies attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, and the Mayor is authorized to issue the Notice of Award, execute the Notice to Proceed, and Agreement Between Owner and Construction Manager at Risk on the Basis of Cost Plus, and accept Integrated Water Services, Inc.'s Price Proposal Form on behalf of the Town of Firestone.
