RESOLUTION NO. PC-24-04
A RESOLUTION OF THE FIRESTONE PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL REVIEW
USE APPLICATION TO OPERATE A FAMILY CHILD CARE HOME
(LARGE) ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON LOT 5, BLOCK 2, OAK
MEADOWS PUD FILING 1
WHEREAS, Maribel Z. Urbina (the "Applicant"), who is the owner of certain real property
located in the Town of Firestone, having a legal description of Lot 5, Block 2, Oak Meadows PUD
Filing 1 (the "Property"), has submitted an application for Special Review Use to operate a Family
Child Care Home (Large) (the "Application"); and
WHEREAS, the Firestone Planning and Zoning Commission has conducted a public
hearing on the Application and has considered all the evidence presented at the public hearing,
together with the relevant standards to accommodate a Family Child Care Home (Large) set forth
in the special review use criteria in Step 9, Section 16.7.1 LC of the Code; and
WHEREAS, the Firestone Planning and Zoning Commission wishes to make a
recommendation to the Board of Trustees regarding the Application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE FIRESTONE PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION:
That the Firestone Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the
Application with the following condition:
a. The Applicant shall obtain a Firestone Business License before operating the
proposed use
