HomeMy WebLinkAboutTraffic Signal & Pedestrian Signal Update - 6/1/2023Traic Signal & Pedestrian Signal Update Beginning the aernoon of Friday, June 2, 2023, the new traic signal at the west entrance to the King Soopers parking lot on Colorado Boulevard will begin flashing yellow. While the signal flashes yellow, motorists traveling north and south should proceed cautiously through the intersection. Motorists traveling east and west, crossing Colorado Boulevard, should continue to stop at that intersection before traveling through it. The signal will go into full operation mid-morning on Monday, June 5, 2023. Click to view more information about the HAWK system. Pedestrian Signal Update Work will continue on the pedestrian-activated HAWK signal at the intersection of Oak Meadows Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard. Weather permitting, regular work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the project should be completed by early summer. Motorists are urged to pay close attention while driving through the work area and be prepared for slight delays. While on Colorado Boulevard, be aware that there may be lane shis during construction. Please abide by all posted traic control signs, reduce speeds in the work zone, and avoid the work area if possible.
