A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
FIRESTONE, COLORADO, DESIGNATING THE APRIL 2, 2024,
REGULAR ELECTION A MAIL BALLOT ELECTION AND
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN CLERK TO APPOINTELECTIONJUDGES
WHEREAS, in accordance with C.R.S.§ 3 1 -1 -101 (10) of the CO3 Jorado Municipal Election
Code of 1965 the Town of Firestones (*"Town*') next regular election will take place on Tuesday
April 2� 2024. and
WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S.§ 31-10-908. the Town's Board of Trustees ("Board of
Trustees-) is authorized to detemiine that the upcoming regular election shall be conducted by
mail ballot: and
WfIEREAS, pursuant to C.R,S. § 31-10-401 the Board of Trustees mav by resolution
delegate its authority and responsibility to appoint election judges to the Town Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO:
Section I , The Board of Trustees has determined that the l'o',A,,n*s regular election to be
held on April 2. 2024, shall be by mail ballot for which the Towm Clerk shall supervise the

distribution. handling of ballots and the survey of retums and shall take all necessary steps to
protect the confidentiality of ballots cast and the integrity of the election.
Section 2. The Board of"Frustees hereby authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to conduct
the mail ballot election pursuant to the procedures set forth in C.R.S. § 31-10-910.
Section 3, The Board of Trustees hereby delegates its authority and responsibility to appoint
electionjudges to theTo",n Clerk.
