HomeMy WebLinkAbout25-04 Authorizing Payment of CIRSA Insurance Premiums for 2025 Property and Casulaty Insurance 01-08-2025RESOLUTION N". 25-04 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO, AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF THE COLORADO INTERGOVERNMENTAL RISK SHARING AGENCY'S INSURANCE PREMIUMS FOR 2025 PROPERTY AND CASUALTY COVERAGE WHEREAS, the Colorado Intergovernmental Risk Sharing Agency ("CIRSA") is a municipal self-insurance pool that provides coverage for municipal entities within the state; and WHEREAS, the Town of Firestone is a CIRSA member and thus responsible for payment of the coverages provided by CIRSA for the Town; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees desires to approve the 2025 premiums for the coverages listed herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO: The Board of Trustees authorizes payment to CIRSA for the 2025 premiums for the following coverages: Property Damage from Mobile Equipment, Public Officials Errors & Omissions Liability, Law Enforcement Liability, General Liability, Auto Physical Damage, Auto Liability, All Risk Property, Water Line Ruptures / Sewer Back-up INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED this 8th day of January, 2025. TOWN Don Vony ATTEST: c UWM aAC. issy Carranco, Deputy Town Clerk APPROVED AS TO William �. �ya�?ii, T�jFAttorney NE,COLORADO Mayor RESOLUTION 11O.25-OS A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO, ADOPTING THE THREE MILE PLAN FOR THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 31-12-105(1)(e)5 C.R.S. prior to the completion of any annexation within a three-mile area outside of the municipal boundaries of a municipality ("Three Mile Area"), a municipality is required to have in place a plan ("Three Mile Plan") which generally describes the proposed location, character and extent of certain public facilities, located within the Three Mile Area; and WHEREAS, the Town of Firestone has enacted, adopted and approved the various plans, documents, ordinances and resolutions (collectively "Plans") listed on "Exhibit A," attached hereto and incorporated herein; and WHEREAS, the Town Board has determined that the Plans, when considered together as a whole, adequately comply with the requirements of state law for the Three Mile Plan for the Town of Firestone; and WHEREAS, to ensure that future annexations by the Town of Firestone are completed in compliance with the provisions of state law, the Town Board, by this Resolution, desires to formalize its understanding and intention that the Plans serve as the Three Mile Plan for the Town of Firestone. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO: Section 1. The Plans, as described in "Exhibit A," attached hereto and made a part of this resolution, when considered together as a whole, shall constitute the Three Mile Plan for the Town of Firestone required pursuant to Section 31-12-105(1)(e)(I), C.R.S. (the "Three Mile Plan"). Section 2. The Three Mile Plan is hereby adopted. Section 3. The Three Mile Plan shall be reviewed and revised as may be necessary or advisable, and shall be updated annually, and additional plans may be added to the Three Mile Plan from time to time, as they are developed and adopted.
