HomeMy WebLinkAboutParks, Open Space & Trails Master Plan Community Meeting - 10/23/2019Parks, Open Space & Trails Master Plan Community Meeting Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. Firestone Town Hall – Board Room Firestone residents are invited to a Community Meeting to share your thoughts and help inform the first ever Town of Firestone Parks, Open Space, and Trails Master Plan. The Town of Firestone’s consultant team will present on the project and facilitate a group discussion on what YOU want to see in Firestone’s parks and open lands. This is an opportunity for the entire community to offer input, ask questions and talk parks with your neighbors. The Parks, Open Space, and Trails Master Plan will be a guiding document for the Firestone park and open space system for the next 5-10 years. The project will gather input from Town staff, Board and Commission leadership, the community, and other important stakeholders. The consultant team will then craft a plan of attack to serve decision makers in creating a premiere park system that helps residents enjoy a healthy and active outdoor lifestyle - a way of life in Colorado! Join us for the meeting at Town Hall in the Board Room on Wednesday, November 6th at 6:00 p.m. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. As additional stakeholder meetings are scheduled and updates are made on the Master Plan process, information will be shared with the public and posted online at www.firestoneco.gov/MasterPlanProject.
