HomeMy WebLinkAboutBlizzard Warning & Snow Removal Plan - 3/18/2020Blizzard Storm Warning & Snow Removal Plan According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a Blizzard Warning is in effect for our area. NWS reports that heavy snow and strong winds are predicted, starting late tonight (Wednesday, March 18) until early Friday morning. Even with the facility closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of Firestone would like to ensure our residents that the Department of Public Works is ready with a snow control plan to keep streets, trails and public areas safe and accessible during periods of snow and ice.
