A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
FIRESTONE, COLORADO, APPROVING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO
THE TOWN MANAGER'S EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, on April 10, 2019, the Town of Firestone entered into an Employment
Agreement ("Agreement") with Arthur J. Krieger to serve as Town Manager; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides that the Town Manager's performance shall be
reviewed and evaluated by the Board of Trustees no less frequently than on an annual basis; and
WHEREAS, in April and May of 2021 the Board of Trustees met with the Town Manager
to review and evaluate his performance; and
WHEREAS, upon the basis of such review and evaluation, the Board of Trustees amended
the Town Manager's Compensation and Paid Time Off as set forth in the First Amendment to the
Town Managers Employment Agreement; and
WHEREAS, in March 2022 the Board of Trustees met once again with the Town Manager
to review and evaluate his performance; and
WHEREAS, upon the basis of the review and evaluation, the Board of Trustees desires to
amend the Town Manager's Compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO:
The Second Amendment to the Town Manager's Employment Agreement is approved in
substantially the same form as the copy attached hereto and made a part of this resolution and the
Mayor is authorized to execute the Second Amendment on behalf of the Town. YVI

SECOND AMENDAIIENT TO THE TOWN MANAGER'S EMPLOYMENT
AGREEMENT
This Second Amendment to the Town Manager's Employment Agreement is made and entered
into this 25th day of May 2022, by and between the Town of Firestone, Colorado, and Arthur J.
Krieger, the Town Manager.
WHEREAS, on April 10, 2019, the Town of Firestone entered into an Employment
Agreement ("Agreement") with Arthur J. Krieger to serve as Town Manager; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides that the Town Manager's performance shall be
reviewed and evaluated by the Board of Trustees no less frequently than on an annual basis; and
WHEREAS, ul April and May of 2021 the Board of Trustees met with the Town Manager
to review and evaluate his performance; and
WHEREAS, upon the basis of the review and evaluation, the Board of Trustees amended
the Town Manager's Compensation and Paid Time Off as set in the First Amendment to the Town
Manager's Employment Agreement% and
WHEREAS, in March 2022 the Board of Trustees met again with the Town Manager to
review and evaluate his performance; and
WHEREAS, upon the basis of the review and evaluation the Board of Trustees desires to
amend the Town Manager's Compensation,
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
Section 1. Section 3, Compensation, of the Agreement is amended by increasing the Town
Manager's amnial base salary from $.L IJ0.00 to $210,000.00.
Section 2. The uicreased Compensation shall be effective as of May 25, 2022.
Section 3. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in fiill force and
effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have duly executed this Second Amendment to
Agreement as of the date first above written.
